Red Rocks is the only venue on the Dandelion Tour that people travel to for its own sake. Ella Langley headlines it for the first time on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

Kameron Marlowe and Gabriella Rose open. AEG Presents announced the date on June 22 and put it on sale that Friday, with Denver station KBCO running the early access presale.

The show sits at 6,450 feet on an October Wednesday. That combination shapes almost every practical decision you will make about the night, from what you wear to when you leave the house.

Why an October Date Changes the Whole Night

October 7 falls near the end of the Red Rocks season, and the temperature swing is the single thing most first-timers underestimate. A warm afternoon can drop around twenty degrees once the sun goes behind the rocks.

Sunset in Morrison in early October lands not long after doors. So the queue is warm, the opener is cool, and the headline set is cold. Dress for the last of those three, not the first.

Shows here run rain or shine and there is no indoor alternative. A packable layer and a poncho weigh nothing and cover both problems. Umbrellas are not permitted, so the poncho is the only option that works.

Lightning is the one exception to rain or shine. If a severe storm arrives, staff direct everyone to shelter, which in practice means your vehicle. If you arrived without one, the Visitor Center at the top of the amphitheatre is the designated shelter point.

The venue runs a weather text service. Send RRWEATHER to 67283 on the day of the show and you get real-time updates from Red Rocks itself rather than a generic forecast for Denver, which sits 1,200 feet lower and behaves differently.

Altitude, and why it matters more than you think

The amphitheatre sits roughly 1,200 feet higher than downtown Denver. If you flew in that morning, you will feel it on the climb from the lower lots.

There are 380 steps from the bottom of the amphitheatre to the top. Locals run them for exercise. Take them slowly, drink water before you arrive, and remember that alcohol lands harder at elevation than it does at home.

Kameron Marlowe and Gabriella Rose Open the Show

The bill is Kameron Marlowe first, then Gabriella Rose, then Langley. AXS, Ticketmaster and SeatGeek all list the same running order, and AEG named both acts in the June announcement.

That pairing is worth noting because the fall extension has otherwise leaned on ERNEST and Laci Kaye Booth. Morrison gets a different bill from the August run.

Kameron Marlowe supported Langley across spring dates before rotating off. Gabriella Rose has stayed on the tour throughout, opening in Auburn in August and returning here.

Doors, Set Times and When to Actually Leave

The venue lists a 7:00 PM start. Red Rocks does not publish a per-act running order, so treat everything after that as an estimate rather than a printed schedule.

The number that matters more is when you leave. Arrive ninety minutes before showtime. That is the local consensus, and it accounts for the access road rather than the drive itself.

Red Rocks Park sits 15 miles west of downtown Denver, just off Interstate 70 at exit 259 in Morrison. Traffic on the approach roads can add forty-five minutes on a busy night, and there is no way around it once you are in the queue.

Parking, and the Trade Off Nobody Mentions

Parking is included with your ticket, but where you land decides how your night ends. The lower lots mean a shorter walk in and a much longer wait to get out.

Upper lots are the reverse. More climbing on the way in, far less queueing when 9,000 people leave at once.

If someone is collecting you, or you are using a rideshare, all passenger pickup happens at the Jurassic Lot near Entrance 2. The recommended walking route is the Will Call Trail, opposite the Trading Post, and down Red Rocks Park Road.

One detail worth knowing if you are arriving early to look around: on concert days the amphitheatre and most upper parking close to non-ticketed visitors by mid-afternoon, usually around 2:00 PM.

The Bag Policy Is Stricter Than Any Arena on This Tour

Red Rocks does not use the standard clear bag rule most arenas apply. The restriction here is the number of pockets, and it catches people out.

A hiking daypack with three compartments will be turned away at the gate no matter how small it is. That is the rule people arrive not knowing.

Accessible Seating and Getting Up the Rows

Rows 1, 2, 3 and row 70 are designated accessible seating. A guest using accessible seating can reserve up to four seats in total, so three companions can sit with them.

A shuttle runs from the upper south lot down to the front rows for guests in rows 1 to 3, and an accessible placard is required. For row 70, the closest parking is the top circle lot.

A sign language interpreter is usually positioned at either side of the stage. Interpreters and assistive listening devices can be requested from the venue’s access team at redrocksaccess@denvergov.org, and it is worth doing that well before the day.

Sort accessibility before you buy rather than on the night. Accessible parking and drop-off exist but are limited, and the terrain here is genuinely steep.

Where to Sit for Sound and for the View

Two schools of thought, and both are defensible. Front rows in the middle give the best sound balance in the amphitheatre.

The top row gives you the thing you came to Red Rocks for, which is the rock formations framing the stage and the Denver skyline glowing behind it after dark. On a clear October night that view is the reason people pay a premium here.

There is no bad sightline. The amphitheatre is a natural bowl and the stage is visible from every bench.

Note the word bench. Red Rocks has around 70 rows of long stone benches rather than individual numbered seats. Your ticket gives you a row, not a defined chair, so how early you arrive decides how much room you get.

That is a genuine difference from every arena on this tour. At Neville Arena or the BOK Center your seat is your seat. Here, arriving twenty minutes late can mean squeezing in at the end of a row.

Expected Setlist for the Morrison Show

Expect 18 to 23 songs across roughly 90 minutes. The order below is built from three documented 2026 performances: the Toledo opener on May 7, St. Louis on May 8, and Fort Worth on August 15, where she played 23 with a four-song encore.

Two pieces of recorded music run before she appears. “Hell at Night”, her collaboration with BigXthaPlug, plays over the walk-on, followed by the traditional “Froggy Went a Courtin'”. She opens on “Dandelion”.

That 18-song shape held identically across Toledo and St. Louis. Fort Worth added “I Can’t Love You Anymore” and “Last Call for Us”, then returned for an encore of “Speaking Terms”, “love you tonight”, “Make Me Wanna Smoke” and “That’s Why We Fight”.

Two covers sit back to back at twelve and thirteen, and they are worth arriving for. Toby Keith’s “Wish I Didn’t Know Now” leads into Kitty Wells’ “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels”, the 1952 answer record that made Wells the first woman to top the country chart.

Riley Green does not tour with this production, so the crowd sings his half of “You Look Like You Love Me”. In an outdoor amphitheatre with rock walls on both sides, that moment carries further than it does indoors.

Tickets and What You Will Pay

AXS is the official seller for this show, and tickets went on general sale on Friday, June 26, 2026 after a KBCO presale. Resale carries whatever remains.

Two quirks are worth knowing. Red Rocks applies a delivery delay, so tickets arrive by end of day on the day of purchase rather than immediately. A transfer delay also applies and is lifted within a month of the on-sale date.

The venue also runs its own app for digital ticketing and touchless entry, alongside park and venue maps and weather alerts. Download it before you leave, because mobile signal in the hills is unreliable.

If Red Rocks becomes a habit rather than a one-off, the venue runs a Concert Club at $75 a year that opens early access and presales across the season. For a single show it makes no sense. For anyone driving up several times a year it pays for itself on one hard onsale.

Where October 7 sits in the season

Red Rocks runs from spring to November and packs more than 60 shows into the stretch from August to close. October is the late-season run, and the calendar around Langley is dense.

Shaboozey plays the same stage six days later on October 13. Zac Brown Band takes two nights on the 19th and 20th. Langley’s Wednesday sits at the front of that closing country stretch, before the weather turns properly.

A Wednesday in October is also the cheapest kind of Red Rocks night. Weeknight shows late in the season are where the venue’s more affordable tickets tend to sit, which matters if the Saturday arena dates elsewhere on this tour have priced you out.

A Venue With a Longer History Than the Tour

John Brisben Walker bought the land in 1906 and staged concerts on a temporary platform between the rocks. He sold it to the City of Denver in 1928 for $54,133, on the condition that the city build a proper amphitheatre there.

The Civilian Conservation Corps built what stands today, and it opened in 1941. The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder and John Denver have all played the same stone.

The sandstone formations that make the acoustics are around 300 million years old and rise roughly 300 feet on either side. Nothing about the sound here is engineered, which is why artists talk about Red Rocks differently from other venues.

The park hosts more than 150 events a year and draws about 1.1 million visitors beyond ticketed shows, for hiking, the museum and the free sunrise services. Venue director Tad Bowman has pointed out that Red Rocks sets attendance records despite operating only part of the year with a capacity under 10,000.

Langley is a headliner here at 27, two years on from her first major label release. That is a fast arrival by any measure.
